Family: Married 42 wonderful years to the love of my life Lexy. We have two adult children, Eric 39 and Tiphanie 35 and Four beautiful grandchildren.
Military: I served in the US Navy as a helicopter air crewman from August 1965 through October 1969. Assignments included one North Atlantic and two Mediterranean cruses.
Motorcycling: AMA Charter Life Member; Former member of MORE (Motorcycle Owners Riders and Enthusiasts) and the original ORVC (Off Road Vehicle Coalition).
In the 1970’s I attended the US Forest Service “Road less Survey” training (Sacramento) and testified at the Tahoe and El Dorado National Forest wilderness hearings. At that time my motorcycling primarily consisted of riding off road events as well as working as a pit steward at the CalExpo Speedway Motorcycle track.
Currently I enjoy riding the highways with the Capital City Motorcycle Club, of which I’ve been a member for nearly 3 years.
I own the following motorcycles: ’78 Yamaha SR500, ’84 JAWA speedway bike, ’06 Harley Dyna Convertible, ‘06 Kawasaki Concours, ’06 Suzuki DRZ400SM.
